Bond AGM 2010

Bond is the UK membership body for non-governmental organisations (NGOs) working in international development. Every year they invite their 370 members to their annual conference and AGM in London.

This year they wanted to document the event, to stream content online to those who were unable to attend and to canvass some of the members and exhibitors present in order to start building a repository of video materials they can use for future campaigns. So we took along a camera crew, some mobile editing equipment (well a Macbook Pro and a pair of headphones) and some energy drinks to keep us going.

By the time those members attending were finishing their lunch, those who were unable to make it along could view the keynote speaker's address online and we had already filmed 4 interviews and a lot of covering footage. Things didn't quieten down for us until the sun had long gone down and the networking had begun in earnest for all of the attending members. Then it was a case of reviewing all of that footage back in the office and (as well as providing Bond with footage of specific sessions) the job of crafting it into the short taster film you can see above began.

Not only were Bond extremely happy with the finished product, it has created a fantastic platform for them to take online video even further in 2011. Watch this space.
